Focusing on the Impact of daylighting on Learning Environments

Recognizing that sustainable local learning environments are about taking a holistic approach. The time constraint for this research was the limit to which a holistic approach could be taken to design a sustainable local learning environment. Instead, this research will take this view that this project would be a lifelong learning project. So, the project adopts the findings of the semester two in designing a leaning environment and adds the aspect of daylight to this complex. Daylighting is examined in two ways one in the way light impacts the learners visually the other the way it impacts their thermal comfort.
